Alternatively, visit Porthminster Beach, which is just under 500 metres from the flat. It has stunning views, sand out front and cliffs behind with rock pools . The town itself has plenty of boutiques, eateries and creative spaces, so take a day to explore. If you fancy a big trip out, go on to Land’s End (18 miles from the property) and visit the Merry Maidens Stone Circle (13.5 miles). Stories say they were once dancing women. There’s lots of wildlife and history around, including legends of King Arthur and the mysterious St Michael’s Mount, which is 8.5 miles away and seems to have appeared straight out of a fantasy story.
