Bask in the sunshine and gaze out over the golden sands of Porthmeor Beach from this duplex apartment in St Ives. Situated across the second and third floors of the beachside building, the two-bedroom holiday home is in an enviable position, within just 40 metres of the beach. Sleeping six guests, it is also well-positioned for the many eateries and galleries of the Cornish town, as well as the South West Coast Path.

Enter at second-floor level to discover a central lounge/kitchen/diner with sea views and ample space for everyone to spread out. Play games, watch TV and listen to music in here after your days out. The kitchen has everything you need to help you prepare homecooked meals and there is a table to dine at. The sofa can be made up as a bed for two guests if necessary. A twin room, with beds that can be arranged as a super-king-size, is also on this floor, together with a family bathroom. Climb the stairs to the floor above to find another twin bedroom, this one with a TV, and doors that open on to the balcony. Sun yourselves out here on summer days and sip a sundowner as you gaze out towards the beach on warm evenings. This apartment comes with parking for one car.

Make your way down to Porthmeor Beach to dip in the sea and take your surfboard out on to the waves. Bamaluz Beach, also a firm favourite with surfers, is 350 metres away, while Porthminster Beach, where you can take part in a range of water sports, is 0.5 miles away. Pick up the South West Coast Path next to the apartment and walk out on to the Island headland or head off towards Clodgy Point, with its panoramic views, 1 mile away.

As you are aware we stayed at the property on numerous occasions. The location of the property is ideal for us. Car parking is a must for us. The style of property is perfect for us.. The soft furnishings could do with being updated. We had lovely weather and I was annoyed that I had to spend an hour cleaning the table and chairs in order to make fRead moreull use of the balcony.
